Guide to Glamping in Lincolnshire
Discover the joy of glamping in the Lincolnshire countryside
If you're looking for glamping in Lincolnshire, you're probably searching for somewhere peaceful, comfortable and surrounded by nature. Somewhere you can escape the rush of everyday life, spend quality time with the people who matter most and enjoy the outdoors without giving up every home comfort.
At Waites Farm Glamping, we've created exactly that. Our small, family-run site offers luxury bell tents and spacious camping pitches in a peaceful, vehicle-free wildflower meadow, where campfires, wildlife and big Lincolnshire skies take centre stage. Whether you're planning your first glamping holiday or you're already a seasoned glamper, we hope this guide helps you discover why Lincolnshire is such a wonderful place to escape.

What is glamping?
Glamping combines the freedom of camping with many of the comforts of home. Instead of spending hours pitching a tent and sleeping on an air bed, you arrive to find a beautifully prepared bell tent waiting for you, complete with proper beds, cosy furnishings and plenty of space to relax.
It's the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors while still sleeping comfortably and waking refreshed.
Glamping is ideal for couples looking for a romantic countryside break, families wanting an adventure without the hassle of packing lots of equipment, grandparents introducing grandchildren to the outdoors, or anyone who loves nature but prefers a few extra comforts.

Why choose Lincolnshire for a glamping stay?
Lincolnshire is one of England's best-kept secrets. Unlike many of the country's busier holiday destinations, you'll find open landscapes, peaceful villages, huge skies and miles of unspoilt countryside waiting to be explored.
Spend the day discovering the sandy beaches of the Lincolnshire coast, explore the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, visit traditional market towns or simply enjoy quiet country lanes and nature reserves filled with birds and wildlife.
One of the greatest pleasures of staying here is that you never feel rushed. Life slows down, evenings become longer and the simple things—sharing a pizza, sitting around a campfire or watching the stars appear overhead—become the highlights of your holiday.

Why choose Waites Farm Glamping?
We believe glamping should feel personal.
That's why we've kept our site intentionally small, with just a handful of spacious pitches carefully positioned within a peaceful wildflower meadow. There's no feeling of being packed tightly together, no traffic driving past your tent and plenty of room to relax.
Every pitch has its own fire pit and private eco-compost toilet, while hot showers, indoor toilets and washing-up facilities are just a short walk away.
Families love the freedom of our vehicle-free meadow, while couples often tell us how peaceful and relaxing the site feels. During the school holidays our Friday Pizza Nights have become a favourite tradition, and The Cow Shed games room offers pool, darts and board games if the weather decides not to cooperate.
Our honesty shop stocks essentials, local treats, snacks, drinks, marshmallows, firewood and BBQ charcoal, helping you spend less time shopping and more time enjoying your holiday.

What should you bring?
One of the joys of glamping is that you need far less equipment than traditional camping.
We recommend bringing comfortable outdoor clothing, a warm jumper for cooler evenings, walking shoes or wellies, a torch, your favourite food and drinks for the barbecue, marshmallows for the fire pit, binoculars if you enjoy wildlife watching and, of course, your camera to capture those unforgettable Lincolnshire sunsets.
Most importantly, bring time. Time to relax, disconnect from busy routines and enjoy being together.

Things to do during your stay
There's plenty to discover within easy reach of Waites Farm Glamping.
Visit the traditional seaside resorts along the Lincolnshire coast, explore the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, enjoy local farm shops and cafés, discover nearby nature reserves or spend a day wandering around the historic city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral and castle.
Many of our guests also choose to stay closer to home, spending their days walking nearby footpaths, playing games in the meadow, cooking over the fire pit and relaxing beneath some of Lincolnshire's wonderfully dark night skies.
Sometimes doing very little turns out to be the best holiday of all.
